ABOUT ME
I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT #83622) with a Perinatal Mental Health Certification. I graduated with a Masters Degree in 2008 and have been in private practice since 2015. I provide therapy in San Francisco and online throughout California. My style is warm and supportive, with the intention for clients to feel heard. I also challenge clients to use their strengths to heal and grow.
My approach is client-centered and explores how childhood experiences have influenced your present life. Elements of mindfulness-based methods (such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) and non-verbal approaches (such as art and guided imagery) are integrated into the sessions. The relationship between the therapist and client offers opportunities for healing and transformation.
Sessions focus on helping clients with issues including reproductive and maternal health, anxiety, recovery from trauma, domestic violence, and adolescent challenges. There are short-term and long-term therapy options and we will collaborate to determine the course of our work together. Sessions are usually 50 minutes long. A free 15-minute phone consultation is offered to answer any questions you have and to set up our initial appointment.
